Bored of the same old destinations of Thailand, Singapore etc. for heading out for a family retreat during summer hols? There are other spectacular and gorgeous destinations  other than these cliched ones which Asia has to offer and which are at a comfortable flying distance from India. 1. Okinawa, Japan




Scrumptious meals aside, a visit to Okinawa would transport you straight to heaven. The only prefecture in Japan that is truly subtropical, Okinawa is a paradise where colorful flowers of the subtropics bloom the year-round.
